• Relapse/Remission in drug self-administration (rodent and primate)
• Intra-cranial self-stimulation (rodent)
• Drug-induced place preference (rodent)
• Taste aversion (rodent)

Neurobiological assays include:

• Immunohistochemistry
• In situ hybridization
• Release of dopamine
• c-fos expression
