Fragile X Syndrome/Down's Syndrome

Established mutant mouse models of both Fragile X Syndrome (Fmr-1-/-) and Down's Syndrome (Ts65Dn) are available, along with a unique model FRAXAD.  The latter is a cross between the well known Alzheimer's model (Tg2576) and Fmr-1-/- mice.  FRAXAD mice over-express human AbPP with the Swedish mutation in an fmr-1-/- background.
